Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Hyrable (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Hyrable.

2. Description of service

Hyrable is an AI-assisted job-search tool that:

• Scrapes job listings from public job boards and company career pages (ATS feeds)
• Scores jobs against your CV using AI to rank relevance
• Generates tailored CVs, cover letters, and application answers for individual roles
• Tracks your application pipeline and sends follow-up reminders
• Offers AI-powered mock interview practice (Pro tier)
• Provides a Chrome browser extension (Max plan) that fills job application forms on supported ATS platforms with your prepared materials — you review every field and submit yourself

Hyrable provides links to external job postings. We are not a recruiter and are not party to any employment contract between you and any employer.

3. Free tier and fair-use limits

The Free tier is available to all registered users at no charge. AI features are subject to per-user daily and monthly limits (1 tailored application per day, 3 CV refines per day). Limits reset at midnight UTC.

Free users receive Smart Match scoring (8 profile signals). HyrMatch scoring (20+ signals + full CV read) is a paid feature.

You may increase your limits by subscribing to the Pro or Max tier.

4. Pro subscription

The Pro tier is available for $25/month or $20/month billed quarterly ($60/quarter) (pricing may change with 30 days' notice). Pro subscribers receive:

• HyrMatch scoring (20+ signals + full CV read)
• 10 tailored applications per day
• 20 CV refines and application Q&A per day
• 10 AI mock interviews per month (voice)
• Access to future Pro-only features

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or quarterly via Stripe. Your card is charged on the same date each billing cycle.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from the Settings page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Founding members: Users who subscribe during the early-access period may receive a lower rate locked for the duration of their continuous subscription.

4a. Max subscription

The Max tier is available for $40/month or $32/month billed quarterly ($96/quarter) (pricing may change with 30 days' notice). Max subscribers receive everything in Pro, plus:

• 25 tailored applications per day
• 50 CV refines and application Q&A per day
• 25 AI mock interviews per month
• The Hyrable browser extension for autofilling application forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Teamtailor, and Workday
• Auto-submit applications to supported ATS platforms (Lever, Ashby, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters)
• Cover letter tone selector
• Deep market intelligence per role (success probability, salary data)
• High-match alerts when 85%+ roles arrive

Billing and cancellation: Same terms as the Pro tier above.

4b. Browser extension (Max plan)

The Hyrable browser extension is a Chrome extension available exclusively to Max subscribers. Its sole purpose is to fill job application forms with the CV, cover letter, screening answers, and equal opportunity information you have already prepared in your Hyrable account.

What it does:

• Activates only on the supported ATS domains listed in its Chrome manifest (Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Teamtailor, Workday) and the Hyrable app itself
• Reads the page URL and form field labels on the active application page to identify the job and map fields
• When you click Autofill, sends the page URL and detected screening questions to the Hyrable API to retrieve your prepared materials, then fills the form
• Stores your pairing key and account address in chrome.storage.sync (encrypted by Chrome, synced across your signed-in devices)

What it does not do:

• Submit applications on your behalf — you review every field and click Submit yourself
• Access your browsing history or any website other than the ATS domains and Hyrable listed above
• Store CV text, form content, or personal data locally in the browser
• Execute remotely hosted code
• Share your data with any third party other than the Hyrable API

Pairing and revocation: The extension is linked to your account via a revocable pairing key. You can rotate or revoke the key at any time from the Auto Apply page. Deleting your account immediately invalidates the key server-side.

5. Beta service - no SLA

Hyrable is currently in beta. The Service is provided “as is” and we make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or continuity of any feature.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

6. Your responsibilities

• You must own the rights to any CV or material you upload. Do not upload third-party CVs without authorisation.
• You must not use the Service to submit fraudulent, plagiarised, or misrepresenting applications.
• You must not attempt to circumvent the daily quota by creating multiple accounts or other technical means.
• You must keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• You must comply with the terms and rate limits of any job board or employer career page the Service accesses on your behalf.

7. AI-generated content

Content generated by AI (tailored CVs, cover letters, interview answers) is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers.

AI can produce inaccuracies, hallucinations, or content that does not fully represent your experience. We are not liable for consequences arising from the submission of AI-generated content without your review.

8. Intellectual property

Your CV, profile data, and application materials remain yours. By uploading them, you grant Hyrable a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of operating the Service on your behalf.

The Hyrable platform, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Hyrable. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyrable is not liable for:

• Any failure to secure employment or any job outcome
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Data loss due to technical failures (we maintain backups but do not guarantee zero data loss)
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us during that period (or $10 for free-tier users).

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or non-payment of subscription fees, with or without notice.

On termination, your data will be retained for 30 days for dispute resolution purposes, then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
